Josh graduated from Washington State University in December 2012 with a B.A. in Religious Studies. He originally attended WSU to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering, but after his freshman year he felt God calling him into ministry. Fueled by the passion to serve and become a DCE, Josh quickly changed majors, but remained at WSU because he felt it was exactly where God had intended him to be. After he graduated, Josh went to Portland, OR to continue his schooling at Concordia University where he got his Director of Christian Education degree. Josh has served Trinity since November 2014.
Josh found the love of his life, Jessie, and married her May 27, 2018. Josh has an identical twin, named Zac, and they grew up playing tricks on just about everyone! Including switching classes in High School. He also has a younger sister named Julia. Josh enjoys playing sports including Ultimate Frisbee (he played 5 years on the WSU Club team), baseball, and football. Movies are another hobby and he can be found going to the movies all too often! Josh also loves to read. He loves nature and Mt. Rainier is his favorite place in the world. If Josh isn’t out and about, he can be found at home playing video games or watching his favorite TV shows. Feel free to meet with Josh for coffee or play a round of disc golf to get to know him better!
